Sources & methodology
Everything on Dholera Guide is built on a simple rule: no figure appears unless it can be traced to a named source, and every figure is labelled so you know how solid it is.
How we label facts
- Durable: a settled fact unlikely to change, such as the Gujarat SIR Act 2009 or the roughly 920 sq km planned area.
- Reported (dated): a claim from a credible source at a point in time, such as the expressway reported inaugurated in March 2026, or the airport reported around 80 percent complete in mid-2026.
- Target: a plan or ambition, not an achievement, such as the 5,000 MW solar goal or a first-chip-in-2026-27 timeline.
Primary sources we cite
- DSIRDA and DICDL via the official portal dholera.gujarat.gov.in
- NICDC (National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation) at nicdc.in
- GUJRERA at gujrera.gujarat.gov.in for project registration
- PIB releases for Union Cabinet approvals such as the Tata fab
- CEA quarterly reports for solar-park capacity
- Census 2011 for verified population figures
On prices
There is no official government per-plot market price for Dholera. Any rupee-per-unit figure we mention is a broker or portal range, clearly labelled as indicative and unverified, and we always route you to the official land-pricing policy and to a written, plot-specific quote. We never present a broker range as a guarantee.
Corrections
If you can show us a primary source that corrects something here, we will fix it and date the change. Reach us via the contact page. Every guide also shows a "Last verified" date.
